This new musical is a faithful adaptation of the 1946 film, written by Dove Award-winning composer Bruce Greer and lyricist Keith Ferguson. It is the perfect vehicle for churches or Christian theater companies seeking a full two-act Broadway style outreach production to secular audiences. While the musical is very faithful to the plot and spirit of the beloved film, it contains a clear Christian message for the Christmas season.
This musical enjoyed a very successful five-year run as a Christmas show at the Majestic Theater in Dallas, Texas from 1998-2002.
